I'm a designer based in Melbourne. Currently leading design on Western Union's AU digital wallet — a multicurrency consumer wallet built within a global design system that needed to flex.

Before this I spent six years at ANZ, where I was one of the principal designers on ANZ Plus from concept through to a digital-first bank serving millions of Australians. I led the design system effort across iOS, Android, web, email, and AEM — the components from that system see over five times the usage of their ANZ Classic counterparts.

Most of my work lives in financial services. I care about the systems thinking and design infrastructure that lets product teams move fast without breaking the things that matter. I've been mentoring designers for over a decade — five of the people I worked with at ANZ have moved into senior or leadership roles during my time there.

Outside the day job I run leroice as a long-standing creative practice — design system tooling, brand work, and the occasional 3D illustration project. It's where I keep practising the disciplines product work doesn't always exercise.
